The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association are recognizing Penobscot Bay Medical Center for its performance in treating  stroke patients using the association's Get With The GuidelinesSM program.

New Pediatrician, Dr. Sam Lew, Joins PBMC Medical Staff
Dr. Sam Wei Lew has joined the active medical staff of Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. He is assuming the pediatricsDr. Sam Wei Lew, pediatrician practice of Dr. Alison Faulkingham.

"My aim is to establish a practice where families can feel that there is a medical home for them," said Dr. Lew, who comes to our area from Machias, where he was chief of Pediatric Services at Down East Community Hospital. "A pediatrician is there to keep families healthy and for the ‘lumps and bumps’ of childhood." Learn more about Dr. Lew.
